Hey, guys! I’m back with some horror movie trailers. These are the ones I’m excited about, other than IT remake. So, here we go:

Jigsaw is back! Get ready for the 8th installment of the Saw franchise directed by brothers, Peter and Michael Spierig. The story takes place ten years after the spoiler death of the killer Jigsaw. It appears somebody is following in his footsteps as a string of gruesome murders take place across the city. As noted in the trailer, John Kramer is associated with these crimes but we will have to see how. Good news though, Tobin Bell will reprise his titular role, which makes me happy. Judging by the look of this trailer, it looks pretty good. The death traps seem terrifying, which I would expect in any Saw movie. Would you see this one? The film comes out October 27 just in time for Halloween!

I can only speak for myself here but I am looking forward to this movie. This has been talked since last year. Possibly, even earlier than that. Despite the many sequels over the years, I hope Leatherface does some good for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise by giving us a comprehensive story of how Leatherface became the murderous villain we know. Directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, two French filmmakers who made the successful horror flick Inside, Leatherface looks like a decent movie. The film will take place before the original film. So at least I don’t have to worry about being confused over timelines in this franchise installment. However, the fact that it will be shown on exclusively on Directv before it gets a limited release makes me have some doubts. Hopefully, this film will be good. Hopefully.

Leatherface comes out on Directv September 21st. The film will be getting a limited release and hit video on demand on October 20th.

My Friend Dahmer, directed by Marc Meyersis one of the most anticipated horror films right now other than the IT remake. However, it’s less of a horror film and more of a biopic You may even call it a thriller. Jeffery Dahmer was one of America’s most famous serial killers. This movie is based on a graphic novel written by John Backderf, who was one of Dahmer’s former classmates. It tells us the story of Dahmer as a high schooler and recounts the events that led up to his very first kill back in 1978. The film’s star Ross Lynch, from the Disney Channel show “Austin & Ally”, actually looks the part. I appreciate the trailer not explaining too much by only showing snippets of Dahmer’s teenage angst and a much more darker side. Even though we know what happens, this film looks so interesting. I think the movie is going to be worth checking out. My Friend Dahmer will be released in theaters this fall.

Which horror film are you most excited about?
